The name of the wine is from a local legend in Hokkaido. “Tantaka” means “Flounder” in the Ainu language of Hokkaido. After Kigaokawa climbed the mountain, he picked up the perilla which can cure illness foxes, tortoises, etc. to make them more vigorous. Forge Gotham from Hokkaido is named after this ancient legend. The pattern on the wine label replaces this story.
